Welcome to BIZFAS.
In this tutorial, we will learn how to use the Administration section of BIZFAS.
The Administration section helps the Company Admin manage the company’s organizational structure, employees, user roles, permissions, and company information.
The Administration section includes five main areas:
Department, Designation, Employee, Roles & Permissions, and Company Overview.
Let’s understand each section step by step.
- Department
First, we have the Department section.
Departments are used to organize employees according to their area of work within the company.
For example, a company may have departments such as Accounts, Human Resources, Sales, Marketing, IT, and Administration.
To create a department, open the Department section and select the option to add a new department.
Enter the department name and provide any other required information.
After reviewing the information, save the department.
The newly created department will now be available in the department list and can be assigned to employees.
You can also manage existing departments by opening their record and updating the required information.
Keeping departments properly organized helps maintain a clear company structure and makes employee management easier.
- Designation
Next, we have the Designation section.
Designation represents an employee’s job title or position within the company.
For example, designations can include Accountant, Manager, HR Officer, Sales Executive, Software Developer, Team Lead, or Administrator.
To create a designation, open the Designation section and select the option to add a new designation.
Enter the designation name and complete the required information.
After reviewing the details, save the designation.
The designation can then be assigned to the relevant employee.
Departments and designations work together to create a clear organizational structure.
For example, an employee can belong to the Accounts Department and have the designation of Accountant.
- Employee
The third section is Employee.
This section is used to create and manage employee records within BIZFAS.
Before adding employees, it is recommended to create the required departments and designations first.
To add an employee, open the Employee section and select the option to add a new employee.
Enter the employee’s required information.
Then select the appropriate Department and Designation for that employee.
For example, if an employee works in the Accounts Department as an Accountant, select Accounts as the department and Accountant as the designation.
After entering all required information, review the details carefully and save the employee record.
The employee will now appear in the employee list.
If an employee’s information changes in the future, the administrator can open the employee record and update the relevant information.
Keeping employee information accurate helps the company maintain an organized and up-to-date employee structure.
- Roles & Permissions
The next and one of the most important sections is Roles & Permissions.
This section controls what users are allowed to access and what actions they can perform in BIZFAS.
A role defines the user’s level of access, while permissions define the specific actions available to that role.
For example, different users may have different responsibilities.
An administrator may require broader access, while an accountant may only need access to accounting-related functions.
To manage roles and permissions, open the Roles & Permissions section.
Select the required role and review the available permissions.
Permissions may include actions such as View, Add, Edit, Delete, Approve, or other functions available in the system.
Enable the permissions that are required for the selected role and disable permissions that are not required.
After configuring the permissions, save the changes.
It is important to assign permissions carefully.
Users should only receive the level of access they need to perform their assigned responsibilities.
For example, if a user only needs to view information, there is no need to provide unnecessary edit or delete access.
Proper role and permission management helps protect company information and reduces the risk of unauthorized actions.
- Company Overview
The final section is Company Overview.
This section contains the basic information about the company.
The Company Admin can review and maintain the company’s information from this section.
Open Company Overview and review the available company details.
Enter or update the required information, such as the company name, logo, contact information, address, and other available company details.
Make sure the information is accurate and up to date.
If the company information changes in the future, the administrator can return to Company Overview and update the relevant details.
After making the required changes, save the information.
Keeping the Company Overview updated ensures that the correct company information is maintained within BIZFAS.
Recommended Administration Setup Order
For a new company, we recommend setting up the Administration section in the following order.
First, complete the Company Overview.
Second, create the required Departments.
Third, create the relevant Designations.
Fourth, add the Employees and assign each employee to the appropriate department and designation.
Finally, configure Roles & Permissions according to each user’s responsibilities.
This setup creates a structured environment and ensures that employees have the appropriate access within BIZFAS.
Conclusion
This completes the BIZFAS Administration setup.
Using the Administration section, the Company Admin can manage the company’s departments, designations, employees, roles, permissions, and company information from one centralized area.
A properly configured Administration section helps maintain an organized company structure, improves access control, and ensures that users can perform their responsibilities efficiently.
